Until the morning in Mykonos

From dusk till dawn, dance the night away at sensational venues dotted across the famed party island of Mykonos where everything from trendy bars to exclusive clubs await.

Astra. While at first glance the Aegean-style cottage façade may seem a little unassuming, Astra is anything but ordinary. Founded in 1987, this famed haunt has seen the likes of The Rolling Stone’s Keith Richards and designers Dolce and Gabbana pass through its doors. With its notorious reservation-only policy, it’s a popular choice for well-heeled socialites keen for a bit of celebrity spotting.

Toy Room Mykonos. Located in the heart of Mykonos’ Little Venice, Toy Room packs a playful vibe into a venue splashed out in designer furniture and commissioned artworks. From the creators of the iconic Toy Room in London, this is definitely one of the spots to see and be seen.

Queen of Mykonos. Much like the name implies, this Champagne and cocktail bar is a hit with the island’s glitterati set. Located steps away from the beautiful centre of Chora, the venue draws in the crowds decked out in their finest, eager to spend the night mingling and sipping exotic drinks.

Caprice Bar. Although the venue acts as a café and restaurant for much of the day, it really starts to come into its own by early evening as the festive atmosphere elevates to a palpable level. Situated on the seafront of Little Venice, this well-loved spot has become known for its punchy ‘party buckets’, plentiful cocktail trays and lively feel that carries on well until the early morning.

Bao’s Cocktail Bar. Thanks to its picturesque setting and colourful cocktails, this is a firm favourite when it comes to snap-worthy sundowners. As the night continues, the music goes up a notch and the vibe becomes more electric, it’s easy to see why a visit to Bao’s has remained a summer essential.
