Time to reflect

Expected to begin on May 16, the holy month of Ramadan is a truly special time in the UAE. As the region slows down and devout Muslims mark the occasion by fasting from dawn to dusk, the change in the air is palpable. After sunset, the city comes to life with iftar feasts that bring families and friends together. The holy month draws to a close with Eid al Fitr in June, which sees plenty of festivities taking place across the UAE with dining feasts and cultural activities for local communities.
