Ferrari World Abu Dhabi
The first-ever Ferrari-themed amusement park is home to Formula Rossa, the fastest roller coaster in the world, which can reach speeds of up to 240 kilometres per hour. Simulating the heart-pounding rush of what it’s like to drive a Ferrari F1-car, Formula Rossa shoots passengers along the tracks, reaching its top speed in just 4.9 seconds, making for a truly exhilarating experience.
Turbo Track is the park’s latest addition. Based on the idea that guests are new recruits who can put themselves to the test and aspire to be a Ferrari test driver, they must pass a three-phase challenge which comprises two opening stages – including an on-screen training and performance analysis. The final test is the ride itself that sees guests launched at 102 kilometres per hour from inside the park through the glass funnel, propelling them vertically through the iconic red roof to the highest point on Yas Island at 64 metres, allowing them to experience hair-raising zero gravity as they plummet vertically down to ground level.
Visitors in need of a pit stop at the park can choose from six dining options, including Mamma Rosella, serving up traditional Italian fare and café Espresso Rosso. And because the fun doesn’t stop once you head home, you can choose from an impressive collection of branded products and memorabilia to take away as a souvenir – from fun toy cars to a wide range of sleek Italian fashion and accessories – at the world’s largest Ferrari retail space.

Yas Waterworld
You haven’t been to a waterpark until you have been to Yas Waterworld. Boasting 45 rides, slides and attractions, Yas Waterworld is an iconic destination that needs to be seen to be believed. So what are you waiting for? Inspired by the Emirati pearl diving legend, the park boasts the world’s longest and fastest tornado waterslide, the largest surfable sheet wave and the twisting, turning serpentine ride that is Slithers Slide, among many others. When you need a break from all that action, head to the Hairat Yas Pearl Diving experience, where experts will show you how to dive and find hidden treasure. Once you have plucked an oyster from its bed, open it to see if it contains a dazzling pearl – the ultimate reminder of this unique experience.
