There’s a new Greek restaurant in town

Aiza is now open at The Pointe on Palm Jumeirah

A new Greek-Mediterranean restaurant opened its doors on Dubai’s Palm Jumeirah on New Year’s Eve. The Pointe’s newest homegrown concept, Aiza brings the magic of the Cyclades to the city’s newest lifestyle destination. Nestled on the East Marina, the venue is open daily from 6pm to 2am, inviting guests to take in the stunning sunset from this vantage point as they feast on Greek and Mediterranean staples.

With al fresco season in full swing in Dubai, the open-air terrace at Aiza lends itself to social gatherings, where guests can take in the stunning ambience while eating on a limited-edition Philoxenia menu. The menu borrows its name from the Greek word ‘philoxenia’, which translates to ‘friend to a stranger’, but, which also holds a much deeper meaning and represents an act of hospitality, welcome and goodwill in Greek culture.

The new menu is available for a short time and will feature some extra special dishes, including a generously portioned, flavour-filled mezze platter, featuring a variety of delicious dips, olives, and spinach pie. Priced for AED99 per person from 6pm to 8pm this January, diners can also pick two beverages.

The venue has also introduced its exclusive ‘Sirens of the Cyclades’ ladies’ night on Tuesdays offering Greek-Mediterranean cuisine, refreshing drinks and an extensive selection of shisha, along with a live DJ and waiters performing Greek dances and traditional plate smashing – all topped off by breath-taking views of the world’s largest fountains.
