The Ritz-Carlton group takes over Banyan Tree Al Wadi, RAK

Banyan Tree Ras Al Khaimah Beach and Banyan Tree Al Wadi, owned by the Al Hamra Real Estate Development and RAK National Hotels, will be renamed The Ritz-Carlton Ras Al Khaimah, Al Hamra Beach and The Ritz-Carlton Ras Al Khaimah, Al Wadi Desert from December 15, 2016.

While both hotels are popular weekend escape destinations in the UAE, the transfer of ownership will serve an increasing appetite among local travellers looking for immersive and engaging experiences not too far from home. Both properties will continue to offer guests the chance to enjoy the unique desert and beachside landscapes in a tranquil environment.

The popular beachside resort, Banyan Tree Ras Al Khaimah Beach, will cease to run after ten years of operations and will close temporarily for renovations while the desert location, Banyan Tree Al Wadi, will remain open and operate under the new management from December 15 onwards.
