Now in its 31st year, Omega Dubai Desert Classic has become a key event on the emirate’s golfing calendar since its debut in 1989. The first event of the tour to be played in the Middle East or Asia, the roll of honour includes 10 major champions, including Seve Ballesteros, Ernie Els, Tiger Woods, Rory McIlroy and Henrik Stenson. Away from the action on the Emirates Golf Club course during this year’s event from January 23 to 26, the range of experiences includes live entertainment, global cuisine and a play zone for kids to keep the whole family entertained.
