Teatime treats at Tania’s Teahouse

Driving down Jumeirah Beach Road, it’s likely that you will simply miss the cute pink door that leads to Tania’s Teahouse. Inconspicuous as the entrance may be, the experience that awaits inside is anything but. Since it opened in 2018, the venue has become the talk of the town, thanks to its photo-worthy interiors, delicious bites, quirky décor and of course, the haunt’s signature teas.

No surprises why the restaurant shot up to seventh place on the list of the world’s most Instagrammable café. Every millennial’s dream, the café overflows with pastel pink everywhere you look punctuated by lush green creepers. A stunning spiral staircase claims all the attention, while the cute copper chairs add that extra touch of quirkiness.

But, of course, it’s not just the interiors that make a venue. The menu equally counts. And boy, does Tania’s Teahouse deliver! Even if you’re visiting for a quick light bite with a cup of tea, you’ll leave wanting to come back for more.

The extensive menu at Tania’s Teahouse features everything from all-day breakfast favourites to super bowls for the calorie counters and hearty homemade pastas for carb lovers. And while everything is bound to win you over, some of our favourites at the venue include the red velvet French toast (the perfect treat for an indulgent breakfast), the chipotle sliders, the all hail kale bowl and the truffle pasta. But if there’s one thing you absolutely must try, it’s the new addition to the menu – the garden salad! Yes, we know! But it’s not often that you go into a restaurant and find that the ubiquitous garden salad is suddenly your new favourite. Do try it out, you won’t regret it!

Finally, to end your meal on a sweet note, try the Cat-purr-ccino cheesecake, a signature dish served in a quirky white chocolate teacup filled with coffee cheesecake and topped with chocolate crumble.

Of course, no visit to Tania’s Teahouse is complete without picking your favourite from the extensive tea menu. The collection is sure to rival every teahouse in town, from a light turmeric ginger to unfathomable concoctions such as the cookie dough tea. Surely, you can’t take it all in with one visit – we will definitely be back!
