Launching this exclusive boutique lifestyle concept after Club Privé’s success in Turkey seemed like the perfect fit for Abu Dhabi – whose penchant for all things luxury (along with neighbouring emirate Dubai) draws people to its shores from far and wide. And so after upgrading the executive and superior villas at Rixos Premium Saadiyat Island, these were rebranded under the Club Privé by Rixos brand. The result: an ultra-exclusive, all-inclusive hospitality offering in Abu Dhabi.
The setting
A slice of paradise on the shores of Saadiyat Island, the moment you step into Rixos Premium Saadiyat Island, you will feel instantly transported to the lap of luxury. Although Abu Dhabi’s prime tourist attractions are within a short distance, the dreamy setting of the resort makes it feel a world away. Unwinding comes naturally, thanks to the resort’s paradisical vibe, which is only elevated once you lay eyes on your uber-luxe villa and the striking blue waters of the Arabian Gulf in the backdrop.
After receiving one of the warmest welcomes – complete with a bouquet of flowers and Champagne popped as you walk in through the entryway – from a private butler and his team (assigned to you through the course of your stay to help with every request, whether big or small) – you’re free to stay indoors and enjoy all the comforts of your plush abode or explore the hotel’s many facilities, which, thanks to the resort’s all-inclusive concept, you can indulge in without carrying your wallet around.
The star of the show: the villas
Lining a private stretch of sand along the shore is Club Privé by Rixos Saadiyat Island’s collection of 12 executive and superior villas, ranging from three bedrooms with a shared pool to four bedrooms with a private pool. Rendered in a natural colour palette, these villas stand out against the lush, well-manicured lawn. Inside, they are clad in marble and parquet with refined touches of silver and gold in the décor.
Each of these villas also features a private garden and private terrace adjoining the master bedroom, giving you multiple options to rest, rejuvenate and simply idle away the hours while soaking up the stunning surrounds. And if you thought that was it, the four-bed superior villa also comes with its own private sauna, attached to the master bedroom. You’d be forgiven for thinking that it couldn’t get better than this but when you’re at Club Privé, surprises await at every turn.
Premium beverages – all included in the price of your villa – are stacked in every mini-fridge in each of the bedrooms while delicious snacks are refreshed in-villa daily. Those looking to keep active during their stay also have access to basic fitness equipment within their villas. Add your private pool, sauna and access to a private strip of beach (and have we mentioned the views already) to the mix and you’d never want to leave!
The facilities

For a little more rest and relaxation, Anjana Spa – the largest spa on Saadiyat Island – offers a range of luxury treatments that blend wellness rituals from the east and west. At its heart is the traditional Turkish bath, where you can experience an authentic, traditional Turkish hammam. And as always, adding that extraordinary Rixos touch, the spa also boasts Abu Dhabi’s only snow room within the spa.
If you have little ones joining you, they can enjoy their very own VIP experience at Rixy Kids Club with activities designed to entertain, educate and nourish their creativity in a safe environment.
Gourmet touch

But you would first want to try Club House, the dining venue reserved exclusively for guests residing in the villas. The restaurant serves up a sumptuous selection of international dishes, paired with wines from all around the world and inventive cocktails. During dinner service, a talented harpist ties the serene vibe together with a splendid performance.
The hotel also serves up Asian flavours at Aja Asian and Teppanyaki, all-day dining favourites at Turquoise, Turkish flavours at Orient, Mediterranean and Greek seafood at Mermaid and Italian flair at L’Olivo.
