Parfums de Marly unveils its latest creation

French perfume house Parfums de Marly unveils the latest addition to its family of niche fragrances – Oriana.

Parfums de Marly has launched an all-new latest addition to its family of niche fragrances – Oriana. Available across the Middle East, Oriana is a new, addictive world of indulgence, the story of a heroine with character and a hypnotic sillage.

Delicate and airy like a muslin dress, Oriana surprises with a sparkling fruity and floral gourmet, designed entirely as a variation on texture, a ‘mille-feuille’ of flaky sweetness, softness, sensuality, energy and light, which is anchored with euphoric and seductive notes of orange blossom. True to the brand’s passion for the 18th-century perfume court with scent-embellished jewels, fans and fountains, Oriana pays homage to Procopio, the inventor of gelato by reinventing the notes from the famous ‘milk cream’ he created in honour of the prince and future king, Louis XV at the grand castle in Chantilly.

The Parfum de Marly signature citrus splash of mandarin, Italian bergamot and grapefruit give way to a suave orange blossom and blackcurrant heart.

The heart notes include a crisp, frosted, raspberry heart note is placed on an airy bed of sweet chantilly cream and incredible marshmallows. While the base notes feature musk mallow, used in the 18th century to perfume and powder hair, distils a fresh and clean feeling while warm and comforting musk creates an expansive petticoat or cocoon-like bubble.

Since its creation, Parfums de Marly has committed to finding and using the finest ingredients to ensure the alchemy of perfume on everyone’s skin. Each formula combines the most natural, the rarest, and the most luxurious essences in perfumery.

Oriana launches in September at boutiques and e-shops, and in October, at other sales locations. It is available in a new 75ml frosted pink bottle priced at AED 1,216.
