Starting this weekend, singer and songwriter Carrie Gibson will set the stage alight at Q’s Bar, Palazzo Versace Dubai, every Thursday and Friday

Set up by none other than musician and producer extraordinaire Quincy Jones, the slick venue presents a new resident act every few months and this weekend, the lounge will welcome singer and songwriter Carrie Gibson.
A rare and delightful find of pure musical talent, Gibson boasts a deep, expressive and dexterous voice, sure to keep audiences engaged throughout her uniquely energetic performances. Witha penchant for conveying her emotion exceptionally on stage, pouring her heart and soul into every performance of musical storytelling, her performance is sure to be a hit with the crowd.
Hailing from Canada, Gibson made her foray into music at just three years of age. Her formative years exposed her to a diversified and eclectic mix of calypso, jazz, Latin and gospel with her aunt Thelma Gibson’s Dance Troupe. Mid-career, Gibson fronted the MTV ‘Live & Loaded’ concert special, backing up Latin singing sensation Ricky Martin, where she dazzled with her on stage vibrancy and singing talent.
Carrie Gibson is set to perform every Thursday and Friday, starting January 7. Shows start at 7pm with Gibson taking the stage from 9:30pm onwards. A minimum spend of AED350 per guest is applicable on food and drinks.
