In honour of Bahrain National Day on December 16, two days of special events will be taking place throughout the nation, inviting both residents and visitors to get into the celebratory spirit. The country will come alive with a host of activities for the whole family, including live music, traditional dance performances, cultural displays and fireworks. Several public spaces will be decorated in the colours of the national flag to celebrate Bahrain’s independence from the British protectorate in 1971.
