The annual Concierge Challenge on November 5 was a date to remember at Dubai Autodrome. myconcierge welcomed 30 five-star hotel partners to its 11th annual event that saw 120 participants take to the outdoor karting track for a fun afternoon out and to determine the fastest hotel in Dubai.
Shangri-La Hotel Dubai bagged top honours while displaying an impressive level of skill and teamwork on track. Fairmont Dubai came a close second with a 14-second difference to the finish, while Grosvenor House & Le Royal Meridien Dubai followed a minute later, securing third place. Platinum Heritage set the best lap with a time of 1.13.672 seconds.
Among other participants, Westin and Le Meridien Mina Seyahi, Nikki Beach Resort & Spa Dubai, Anantara The Palm Dubai Resort, InterContinental Dubai Marina, Raffles Dubai, Radisson Blu Hotel Dubai Deira Creek and Sofitel Dubai Downtown made it to the top 10.
Red Bull kept everybody’s senses on high alert on a rather hot November afternoon; Citymax Hotels provided a great menu of snacks; while Platinum Heritage and mxDubai adorned the parking lot with a vintage Bentley, hot air balloon baskets and Polaris dune buggies; while a DJ and saxophonist topped off an entertaining day out.
