NSO Symphony Orchestra ushered in a new season dedicated to classical music last month with La Dolce Vita at Emirates Palace Auditorium. Guest conductor Simon Hilderbing led the troupe through popular classical and contemporary compositions from Mozart, Bach and the legendary Lebanese artist Fairouz. Continuing the season, on the agenda this month is Hooray for Hollywood, an evening dedicated to music from Oscar-winning movies including The Piano, Harry Potter and Superman. Guest conductor Gianluca Marcianò will take the lead on October 4, delivering yet another performance to remember at Emirates Palace Auditorium.
