Michelin-starred chefs descend on the UAE capital for Abu Dhabi Culinary Season

A vibrant new food festival is currently underway in the capital. Organised by the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi), Abu Dhabi Culinary Season, running until December 14, has put the emirate on the global food map, thanks to the diverse culinary offering served up as part of the festival’s six-week run. The season will continue to celebrate Abu Dhabi’s global food influences, world-class restaurants and talented chefs with tempting offers and delicious foodie-centric events.

As the biggest highlight of the ongoing season, Michelin-starred chefs from around the world have descended on Abu Dhabi to serve up a culinary storm. Organised by the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi), the Tastemasters Series is set to run until December 14. The event will celebrate Abu Dhabi’s outstanding dining offerings by hosting culinary masters in some of the city’s best restaurants.

Some of the renowned chefs who are showcasing their skills include Andrea Monesi from Italy, Matteo Rizzo from Italy, Liu Wai-Yeung from Hong-Kong and Paolo Cappuccio from Italy.

The Chef’s Table programme will also run until December 14, providing gourmands with an opportunity to explore a range of cuisines from the city’s top chefs in an interactive setting. It is designed to elevate the city’s stature on the global food scene, as the spotlight falls on Abu Dhabi’s very own resident culinary geniuses.
