Keep the creative juices flowing with Tashkeel’s at-home art initiative

Tashkeel presents at-home DIY kits and virtual courses for creatives of all ages this summer

The Covid-19 pandemic has allowed us to explore new ways of staying productive and broadening our creative horizons from the comfort of our very own homes. Art hub Tashkeel draws on our new normal to launch a unique summer programme of virtual courses and live lectures for art and design practitioners. Comprising at-home activities for young creatives and online sessions for adults, the programme will run throughout the summer months until September.

Junior art enthusiasts can make the most of summer activity boxes that will allow for creative enquiry and critical thinking with a different theme each week. The boxes will be delivered to your doorstep and offer a range of activities, including printmaking, weaving, traditional animation and mask making among others.

Adults can join leading art and design professionals as they address a range of intriguing techniques and highly relevant issues to nurture ongoing exploration, experimentation and innovation amid a new normality.
