A true festive favourite and one of the most popular ballets of all time is coming to Dubai this month. The prestigious St. Petersburg Tchaikovsky Ballet Theatre will bring the tale of The Nutcracker to life from December 4 to 7 at Dubai Opera. Based on German author E.T.A. Hoffman’s classic 1816 tale The Nutcracker and the Mouse King, it’s an enchanting show for both young and old. The narrative combines exquisite dancing, magical costumes, beautiful sets and Tchaikovsky’s timeless score, which will be performed by a live orchestra.
