The holiday season is once again upon us and Yas Island’s theme parks are getting into the festive spirit. Starting from December 20, Ferrari World Abu Dhabi and Warner Bros. World™ Abu Dhabi will host several family-friendly activities for visitors of all ages. From traditional tree-lighting ceremonies and gingerbread making to live entertainment on ice, there’s plenty of fun to be had until January 4. So put on your cosy Christmas jumper, don your Santa hat and head to the capital’s popular theme parks on Yas Island to soak up the winter magic.
Ferrari World Abu Dhabi
The award-winning Winterfest is back at Yas Island’s Ferrari-branded theme park. Promising a wide range of snow-themed festivities and surprises from December 20 to January 4, there’s something for every member of the family to experience. Join in the tree-lighting ceremony on Italian Street in the park or pose for family photographs at one of the many winter stations. Throughout the season, Ferrari World Abu Dhabi will also host gingerbread making workshops, live acts with Babbo Natale and his elves, acrobatic performances and ice-skating shows.

GINGERBREAD MAKING Get the family together and head to Ristorante II Cavallino, home to Ferrari World Abu Dhabi’s Gingerbread Factory. Ideal for groups of up to four people, the activity sees you decorating an edible gingerbread house.
ACROBATIC ACTION Babbo Natale will get his elves together for an entertaining dance performance, part of the Elf Adage show. Taking place throughout the festival, visitors can also enjoy Frosty’s Holiday Hoopla at La Piazza, a live show that combines comedy with acrobatics.
ICE-SKATING ADVENTURES Head to the Red Theater for a fun-filled show by award-winning ice skaters. Here, you can also take photographs with Babbo Natale, who will make a special appearance with his handy helpers.
WINTER WONDERLAND The perfect playground for junior visitors, Elf Village recreates the magic of a white Christmas with snow slides, attractions and more.
Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi
Make it a festive season to remember at Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi with the theme park’s Winter Spectacular. Running from December 20 until January 4, it will offer a packed programme of festivities, holiday shopping and treats. The live Character Holiday Show is not to be missed. Your favourite animation characters and DC Super Heroes will be out and about at the theme park, ready to pose for holiday photographs. Or you can catch the animation characters in action, preparing to entertain the crowds with a live show. If you’re looking for last-minute presents, the park’s ’s diverse retail offering has you covered with plenty of themed goodies.
