Experience Ski Dubai’s Winter Wonderland this festive season

For a truly white Christmas in Dubai, head to Ski Dubai in Mall of the Emirates

Christmas will look very different for everyone this year, with the world still battling the pandemic. And if, like us, you’re staying in Dubai for the festive season, there’s plenty you can do to soak up the Christmas spirit without leaving the city.

If you’re looking for festive treats all season long, Ski Dubai has just the experience for you. And we believe it’s the next best thing to taking a trip to some of the world’s finest ski resorts among the snowy peaks of The Alps.

Ski Dubai was recently voted as the best indoor ski resort in the Middle East for the fifth consecutive year. In keeping with its December programme, the attraction is bringing a taste of the festive magic all the way from the North Pole to sunny Dubai.

From December 1 to 25, Ski Dubai will transform into a picture-perfect Winter Wonderland, giving guests the chance to experience all the holiday feels with snow.

What to expect?

A spectacular 40-feet Christmas tree is already on display at the venue, signalling that Santa Claus has already come to town. Guests can meet him with his elves in his grotto, where a special surprise gift awaits.

Mrs. Claus will also make an appearance at the grotto from December 13 to 24, entertaining children with storytelling sessions about Santa Claus, his elves and the reindeer.

While walking through the festive set-up, guests will be serenaded with the sweet sounds of Christmas as a live choir performs carols. Visitors will be able to take in all the seasonal sights and sounds while tucking into gingerbread penguins and mince pies, with a warm cup of peppermint hot chocolate.

But that’s not all! The Dubai venue is also adding a Christmas market from The Ripe Market to the mix, which overlooks the magical slopes of Ski Dubai and offers a range of festive food, drinks, trinkets, gifts and other holiday favourites.

Also, for the first time ever, families will have the chance to visit Santa on Christmas Day at Ski Dubai after he has finished delivering presents to all the children around the world.

Ski Dubai’s Winter Wonderland is open from December 1 to 25 from 9am to 9pm. Ticket prices start from AED125 and a regular Ski Dubai ticket can be upgraded for AED75. Each ticket includes a meet and greet with Santa Claus, a printed photo to capture the special moment, a gift bag from Santa as well as a signature hot chocolate. Group and family passes are also available.
