The world’s first-ever Warner Bros branded indoor theme park is the perfect place to spend a day, especially for film fans. Best of all, the whole theme park is indoors and fully air-conditioned, making it the perfect antidote to summer boredom.

The park, which opened on July 25, features six state-of-the-art, fully immersive lands based on the Warner Bros. film studio’s most popular offerings. These include two zones themed around DC comics, Gotham and Metropolis (the homes of Batman and Superman), which comic book fans are sure to love. You can also find some of your favourite animated characters including Bugs Bunny and co. at Cartoon Junction and Dynamite Gulch, or hang out with the Flintstones and their prehistoric friends in Bedrock. Finally, Warner Bros. Plaza is a cinephile’s dream, an interactive tribute to the golden age of movie making.

Across the six immersive zones, there are 29 rides and attractions to choose from, with something to suit every member of the family, from adrenaline-pumping rollercoasters to thrilling obstacles courses, plus gentler options for younger children. The whole family will love the chance to meet and interact with some of their favourite Warner Bros. characters too, from Scooby Doo and Shaggy to Wonder Woman and Aquaman.

As Kevin Tsujihara, Chairman and CEO, Warner Bros. noted on the theme park’s opening day: “Warner Bros. has an almost 100-year legacy of producing and distributing high-quality entertainment to global audiences, and this world-class attraction continues that tradition in grand style. Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi literally brings our characters to life and provides fans with a truly unique immersive entertainment experience.”

Along with its array of exciting attractions, there are also plenty of dining options to explore. Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi caters to every taste, whether you want to grab a quick bite on the go or enjoy a sit-down meal at an old-school Hollywood diner. Kids will love The Starlight restaurant, where you never know which movie character will visit your table while you dine.

There are also lots of opportunities to pick up a souvenir, with custom-designed shops dotted throughout the park selling merchandise inspired by Warner Bros. fan favourites, some of which have been developed exclusively for the theme park.

Tickets to Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi cost AED295 for adults and AED230 for juniors (anyone under 1.1 metre in height), while children aged three or younger get free entry. You can buy your tickets online ahead of time and they will be valid for six months from the date of purchase. Entertainment. It’s hoped that the new opening will further strengthen Yas Island’s position as Abu Dhabi’s leading entertainment destination and enhance the UAE’s status on the world map.
