Ideal for children and young adults, Dubai Opera offers online classes for hip-hop, ballet, tap dance, drama, singing and more in collaboration with Diverse Performing Arts School
Cultivating the next generation of art lovers, Dubai Opera announced weekly online classes in collaboration with Diverse Performing Arts School. The classes will be available on Dubai Opera’s Facebook channel every Tuesday. The series includes hip-hop, ballet, contemporary dance, tap dance, singing, and drama.
The online lessons are geared towards children from the ages of five to 10 years and young adults from 11 to 18 years of age. Over the next six weeks, there will be a challenge for participants to upload their learnings on social media with the hashtag #DiverseDubaiOpera for a chance to win free online classes or classes at Diverse Studio over the summer period.
All participants will win one free trial with Diverse Performing Arts School. The first prize winner from each age group will receive ten free classes or a full week at Diverse Performing Arts School’s Musical Theatre Camp or Theatre/Dance Summer Intensives, plus five free classes for the second-place winner.
This initiative stems from Dubai Opera’s objective to provide increased opportunities for children and teenagers to gain more knowledge of their favourite art forms in hopes of developing the next generation of art lovers.
