Dubai Marina Mall – A Shopping Haven in the Heart of the Marina

Perched on the edge of one of the city’s most desirable districts, Dubai Marina Mall’s greatest attraction is undoubtedly its location. The mall has something of a bijou, neighbourhood feel, garnering much of its atmosphere from the cool quarter which has sprung up around the waterway. Luxurious superyachts bobbing on the water beneath towering skyscrapers in any number of shapes and sizes lend an impressive backdrop to the mall’s shopping offering.

Spread across four levels, the space presents a good mix of designer labels, highstreet favourites and niche boutiques. Fashion forward Dubai shoppers can take their pick of the latest designer pieces from Maje, BCBGMAXAZRIA, The Kooples, Balmain and Versace Jeans. High street staples such as Mango, Ted Baker, Reiss and Dune add to the variety available. There is also a number of specialist stores including mens’ tailors Ascots & Chapels, as well as swimwear brand Beyond the Beach and chic interiors store The White Company. Watches and jewellery are also well represented at Dubai Marina Mall with new opening 1915 by Ahmed Seddiqi, as well as Damas and Rivoli.

A vibrant dining scene has sprung up in and around the mall. It’s directly connected to five-star property The Address Dubai Marina Mall, meaning a host of gourmet options are within easy reach. Dining tower Pier 7, which has become a favourite amongst the city’s foodie crowd, is also connected to the mall and offers celebrity chef-led restaurants, bars and interesting eateries – all boasting stunning marina views. Step outside the mall, and there is a host of al fresco dining options in an area that buzzes with restaurants and cafés where cuisines and concepts from all over the world sit side by side. It’s the perfect place to pause and watch the world go by after a busy day’s shopping. In the cooler months, the waterside promenade hosts quirky pop-markets.
