Atlantis, The Palm’s “underwater” yoga is back

Give your healthcare regimen a boost with Dubai’s only underwater yoga sessions at The Lost Chambers Aquarium at Atlantis, The Palm

Set against the calming backdrop of The Ambassador Lagoon, underwater yoga lessons at Atlantis, The Palm have now resumed. Sessions are hosted every Tuesday and Friday at The Lost Chambers Aquarium from 8 to 9am and cost AED90 per class.

A first of its kind in the region, underwater yoga is one of the best ways to kickstart your day on a powerful note. And with the colourful marine life swimming inside The Ambassador Lagoon in the background, there couldn’t be a better place to find a lasting sense of peace.

The dynamic Hatha practice aims to rejuvenate both body and soul. Open to all levels and abilities, the class helps to improve strength, flexibility and balance through a fluid, calming sequence of postures, breathing exercises and meditation techniques.

Led by one of the region’s leading yogis, the personalised class hosts no more than five guests per session, following the two-metre social distancing guidelines currently in place.

Given the exclusivity and popularity of the class, guests are advised to book in advance. As per government guidelines, participants must bring their own towels and mats. Alternatively, the hotel has a special partnership with SUGAR Yoga mats, which will be available for purchase on the day.
