Discover the latest addition to Dubai’s eclectic retail offering – the Dubai Gold Souk Extension – set to become the emirate’s leading jewellery hub

Dubai’s status as the city of gold recently received a major boost with the launch of the new Dubai Gold Souk Extension (DGSE), developed by Ithra Dubai. Nestled in the city’s heritage quarters and historic heart of commerce, this new development has transformed the emirate’s retail offering since it opened earlier this year.

Just across from the original Gold Souk, the DGSE is part of the newly-developed Deira Enrichment Project, which is a modern, mixed-use community that features residences, business outlets, commerce and leisure options, welcoming residents and visitors to explore its diverse offering. A key part of this development, the DGSE covers over 1,181,025 square feet of the area with more than 295 outlets for shoppers to peruse.

A haven for gold and jewellery enthusiasts from all over the world, the sheer variety of offerings means that there is something for everyone, whether you’re looking for a last-minute gift for someone special or want to explore unique options for your next purchase.

The DGSE is home to an impressive mix of homegrown and international brands, including Al Romaizan Gold & Jewellery, Malabar Gold & Diamond, Al Kanz Jewellery, Dhakan Jewellers, Jawhara Jewellery, Joyallukas Jewellery, La Marquise Jewellery, Hanif Jewellers, Gold House Jewellery, Siroya Jewellers, New Mashoom Jewellery, Top Gold, Zayan Gold, Al Iman, Navran Jewellers, Ismail Jewellery, Popley Jewellery, Kalyan Jewellers and Stargems Diamonds, with many more on track to open their doors in the coming months. With an abundance of brands to explore, visitors can enjoy an unparalleled selection of gold, diamonds and precious stones in endless designs and styles at unbeatable prices with exciting bargains and deals.

Even if you aren’t in the market for jewellery, the DGSE is a must-visit if you’re looking to immerse yourself in an authentic souk experience. The destination blends the past and present by offering a traditional shopping experience through the walkways of Old Dubai, with a modern twist. The upgraded facilities are perfectly balanced with the cultural charm of the original Gold Souk, giving visitors an unmissable retail experience.
