All that glitters

This month’s edit of watches and jewellery champions the intricate craftsmanship of some of the world’s most luxurious brands. Fusing functionality with aesthetics, these are the designs that have us talking

BREGUET Classique 9065 Unlike other brands where women’s watches came as an afterthought, Breguet wowed its female clientele from the very beginning. This brand-new stunner, rendered in 18-carat rose gold, features a black Tahitian mother-of-pearl dial, a diamond-encrusted case and a ruby cabochon crown.

BLANCPAIN Villeret Quantième Complete Calendar From the outset, Blancpain adopted the depiction of moon phases as a central element. It is said that the complication was almost history in the early 1980s, but the Swiss maison revived a fondness for moon phase timepieces as a nod to its love affair with the intricate mechanism.

LONGINES Symphonette Contemporary yet timeless, the Longines Symphonette effortlessly blends chic and stylish. The solid rose gold crown and touches of pink on the dial harmoniously match the bracelet that intertwines eye-catching steel and rose gold with diamonds to enhance the refinement of the dial.

RICHARD MILLE RM 63-02 Automatic Winding Worldtimer Unlike the majority of Richard Mille watches, this standout piece is round in shape (most models feature the brand’s iconic tonneau silhouette). Yet, it exhibits the house’s signature characteristics – sporty, masculine, robust, highly technical and incredibly high end.

PANERAI Luminor Due – 38mm PAM1045 Inspired by its wristwatches from the 1950s, Panerai offers a refined take on the Luminor Due collection with a slimmer profile. This latest addition in red proves that the brand excels even outside its realm of chunky dive watches.

BVLGARI Serpenti necklace Bvlgari turns to its archives, resurrecting a popular design from the 1970s. The Serpenti collection welcomes this sparkling number, crafted in 18-carat rose gold, trimmed at every turn with diamonds, while the hexagonal shapes mimic the intricate pattern of a snake’s scales.

TIFFANY & CO. HardWear Triple Drop earrings Bringing something unexpected to the table Tiffany takes a departure from the usual – feminine lines and dainty designs – to present the extraordinary HardWear collection, inspired by chain links, padlocks and ball bearing motifs for the woman who dares to be bold.

ROBERTO COIN Venetian Princess earrings Rendered in 18-carat yellow gold, these earrings feature eight round brilliant cut diamonds weighing 0.10 carats. Intricately handcrafted by the Italian house, numerous gold threads make up the solid surface.

PATEK PHILIPPE World Time Chronograph Ref. 5930G The World Time Chronograph is back with an exciting update, which includes a faded red guilloché dial and a slight change to the time zones, replacing Beijing with Singapore. The timepiece uses the thinnest, smallest world time chronograph movement ever made, the calibre 28-250 HU, measuring just 30mm in diameter and 6.63mm thick.

VAN CLEEF & ARPELS Filtro d’Amore ring From the Romeo & Juliet high jewellery collection, this ring symbolises the potion that was instrumental in the plot that should have led to the lovers’ secret wedding but instead, resulted in their tragic deaths. Nevertheless a stunner, it is set with a 3.89-carat Burmese ruby, cradled by smaller rubies and diamonds.
