The prestigious Sukhishvili Georgian National Ballet is all set to open the new year at Dubai Opera. Founded in 1944 by dance legends Iliko Sukhishvili and Nino Ramishvili, the troupe will bring a rich combination of ballet, acrobatics and folk-inspired traditional dance to the stage on January 3 and 4. Soon after, the West End musical based on celebrated writer Kahlil Gibran’s autobiographical poetic novel of the same name, Broken Wings, will be brought to life on January 17 and 18. Drawing the month’s programme to a close, yet another musical favourite, Le Petit Prince, will delight fans of the acclaimed 1945 book from January 23 to 25.
