There’s something about Burj Al Arab Jumeirah. Whether it’s the architecture, its celebrated venues or the sense of extravagance, the famous hotel is an icon of luxury for residents and tourists alike. Imagine spending an evening here, enjoying the inspiring views of sunset with a sundowner in hand. All you have to do is book this exclusive ‘Sunset at Scape’ experience with us and enjoy your evening with a selection of house beverages, fine Californian flavours and ambient sunset views.
While Burj Al Arab has always been synonymous with fine-dining fare and fancy occasions, its most recent dining venture Scape Restaurant & Bar adds a refreshing casual gourmet twist to the hotel's dining portfolio. Perched on the sea-level terrace and extending over the Arabian Gulf, everything about this chic venue is inviting, making it the ideal choice for social dining.
Scape Restaurant & Bar serves up an impressive selection of beverages for the evening with an extravagant rose selection and imaginative cocktails and mocktails featuring a blend of spirits, wines and fresh fruit essences. While everything on the menu deserves a recommendation, it’s the ‘flawless’ cocktail, a mix of rose wine, vodka, honey and ginger syrup, that’s definitely a must-try. Oenophiles (wine connoisseurs) can take their pick from Prosecco, Chardonnay or Château Léoube Rosé.
Head chef Timur Fazilov, along with his team, whips up a gourmand’s dream at Scape’s kitchens. While the cuisine is mainly Californian, it’s the hint of Latin American, Mediterranean and Asian flavours that sets every dish apart. The menu for the evening features a selection of tapas including steamed or fried edamame with chilli sauce, pardon peppers with chorizo sauce, vegetarian croquettes, crispy fish tacos with sour cream and avocado, king crab sliders and wagyu burgers.
All in all, an evening at Scape Restaurant & Bar is an evening well spent. And with the al fresco season setting in, the venue is all set to take Dubai’s social scene by storm.
